Roseland Ceasefire Project
Victims of violent incidents need help.
When violence occurs, we have a goal of mitigating additional violence, and our violent incident response team responds to the violence occurring in the community and hospitals. We depend on our Outreach credible messengers, engaged residents, and municipal authorities to provide timely notification of violent incidents. We assess the situation, look to mitigate retaliation, and offer support and/or financial support to victims and families where appropriate.
Our experienced team of Outreach Workers are dedicated to fostering a safe and inclusive environment that supports the growth and empowerment of our at-risk participants. We work closely with families to help ensure that our programs are tailored to meet the individual needs of community members.
We offer high-school level after school programs in SD205 to change the mindset and keep our youth out of trouble by providing anti-gun curriculum and other family based activities.
At Roseland Ceasefire, we are dedicated to proactive interventions that disrupt violence cycles, fostering safer communities through targeted strategies and impactful actions. Together, we make a tangible difference in preventing violence and building a brighter future in our communities.
Victims of violent crime in our community need help.
We partner with the community to help and heal through our network of providers offering services
such as food assistance, trauma recovery, legal services, education, employment and mental health;
always with sensitivity and empathy.
